Two Old Friends

This blog post is coming to you a little late as we had the joy of shooting this wedding a couple of months ago. Two of my old friends exchanged vows on a beautiful summer afternoon. This was a very intimate wedding with their closest family and friends present. It truly was an honor to share this special day with these two. Back when we were in high school I was the match maker behind the two of them hooking up. Watching them get married after all these years brought joy to my heart. I can't say enough how happy I am for Sarah and Scott. We shared the whole day with Sarah, and she looked absolutely beautiful. Her sister did her makeup and hair. Lara, Sarah's niece looked so adorable in her fairy dress.  Sarah and Scott got married at a quaint vineyard in Kuna, Indian Creek Winery. Sarah inherited a vintage styled dress from her aunt which looked fabulous on her. This dress matched Sarah's personality and body type perfectly. We loved the vineyard it was a beautiful location on a beautiful day. Sarah put a lot of thought into all the details she created for their wedding. She had a beautiful dragon ear piece, and diamond bracelets. Scott wore an orange shirt with black pants and a black vest. Knowing these two, having many memories that include the two of them they couldn't have put together a more perfect wedding. Our friend Chance performed the ceremony and they had a taco bar for dinner. I loved the vibrant colors they selected, and the toppers for their cake. They did a great job of including all aspects of their personalities. I loved the streamers hanging from the beautiful trees for their ceremony. The daughter and father dance was so heart wrenching as those two shared in a moment. It was such a touching moment to watch them both cry as they danced to butterfly kisses. It was so good to see my old friends again and be a part of yet another memory. I hope you enjoy these photos!

Little heart beats= Growing family

Our most recent photoshoot was a dear friend of mine who is expecting her second girl. We took her wedding pictures back in October and she has remained a loyal customer of ours. We  went to a bridge that I've always wanted to take pictures on... had to share it of course with the bikers on the greenbelt. And than we went to Albertson's Park which is always a beautiful place for pictures you just have to avoid the goose poop (which can be hard this time of the year). Thank you Rayvin, Justin, and Chailee for yet another great photoshoot! We can't wait to meet miss Davinee ( I hope I spelled that right). Rayvin you look beautiful and you are going to make a great mommy a second time around. It was a pleasure and you guys are so fun to be around. Hope you enjoyed your photos!

Two Lovebirds....

Last month we had the pleasure of taking photos at a beautiful wedding Hidden Springs. I had never been to Hidden Springs before, but what a great community to live in, secluded from the hustle and bustle of everday life. Alicia and Brad were making their vows at the Hidden Springs barn. We met up with the couple at the houses they were getting ready at. Alicia was at her parents, and Brad was a family friends house. Alicia had a gorgeous dress which she looked stunning in, and I loved the bridemaids/maid of honor dresses. Everything fit into the theme perfectly. I loved the idea of having something/someone so elegant loooking with a rustic background (the barn). As you all know getting ready/ detail shots are my FAVORITE! I think it's so important to capture all the tiny details of a wedding because those are things that we often forget. Alicia and Brad did not spare on the details of their wedding. There were so many things to take pictures of.

Right before the ceremony was about to begin... it started to rain so everyone quickly moved the wedding chairs inside the barn. The wedding instantly became a little bit more intimate and private which I really enjoy. Alicia and Brad were surrounded by people who supported and loved them dearly. That's the only way to have a wedding is to surround yourselves with the most important people in your lives... I belive that was part of the mother of the brides toast even. I remember looking over at the groom while we anxiously awaited the brides arrival and he was wiping away a tear. These two had been through a lot together and it was very obvious that they were head over heels in love with each other. It's those little moments that touch my heart and make me appreciate the opportunity to capture such moments in people's lives. Another favorite moment was when the mother of the bride got all teary eyed when helping her daughter get ready for her big day. There was so much love in the air at this weddnig, that we tried to capture every tear, smile, and kiss. Another great thing about this wedding was that the bride and groom sent out dance videos beforehand so when the DJ played certain songs the whole group could dance synchronized, I can officially say that we have never seen that at a wedding before. SO COOL! and what a great way to get your guests involved. Everyone was having a great time and enjoying the joyous occassion.

Brad and Alicia looked fantastic, and we wish them a long life full of happiness and joy. Enjoy their photos as it was a pleasure to take the photos for this wedding.
