Its been awhile.....

Its been awhile since I've written on here... I'm sorry to those of you I have missed blogs about. So here it goes. Possibly another one tonight.

This blog is about a photoshoot I did back in October with Andrea and her daughter Alyeha. What two beautiful strong women these two are! We had so much fun at Albertson's park, even though it was freezing cold that day. We did some great mommy and daughter shots. Alyeha is a beautiful young woman is not afraid of the camera. She has the most beautiful eyes I've seen, and I'm pretty sure she gets them from her mom who has beautiful eyes as well. These two were great sports and stuck it out in the freezing cold, and sat on the freezing ground, and played in the freezing leaves. Hopefully the fall colors will warm you up just a bit from this frosty night.

Thank you again ladies for a great shoot!

She said YES!

Whitney is a friend from highschool, and we lost touch for a few years. We were reunited through Facebook and she asked us to take her engagement pictures. I'm so excited for her! I met up with Whitney and James on a beautiful fall day at Albertson's Park. The fall day was a bit chilly, but had the most beautiful colors. We walked through the back parts of the park to find exclusive spots and I love how they the photos turned out. And can I just say what an adorable couple these two are!

Whitney and James met during a theatre production. They both are stars! And they are so in love.  James and Whitney were so cooperative and fun to work with. What a beautiful ring too! Not only are James and Whitney getting married, but they are also having a baby soon. How exciting to have two events coming up so soon. These two are so in love and are perfect for each other. They kept smiling at each other, and were naturally romantic posers. We are so excited to have the honor to take their wedding photos in June. We can't wait to celebrate their special day with them. Congrats Whitney and James!

(I just had to include this one, shows how perfect they are for each other.)

(I love this photo, how romantic they are).

What do you get when you add red with black?

The Polisso family! For Halloween they decided to have a color scheme and match each other that way. Very Cute!
Andrea was Red Riding Hood
Mary was a vampire
Amber a devilish angel
Maria was a devil
Alexis was a ladybug
and Gabriel was a vampire.

We went up to the train depot with my fun red and black chair (to match the theme) and did some fun fall photos. All the costumes were great and everyone was having a good time.... except Gabriel. Gabriel was not wanting his picture taken that day. Poor guy. Alexis was such a ham and was constantly posing. What a little star she is. Overall a great photoshoot and we even got a few half smiles out of Gabriel.

The cutest bug I've ever seen

Annabelle..... what a cutie. Need I say more? Katie brought Annabelle out to the Old State Penitentary in her halloween costume for fall and halloween pictures. Annabelle was the cutest lady bug I've ever seen. Katie and I treked through the grounds of the Old State Penitentary to find this beautiful field of .... dead grass. Yes that's right yellow crisp dead grass. Well after searching and carrying all of are props everywhere we didn't find it. hahahaha. So we settled for the foothills which I must say provided a great back drop. Annabelle was so smiley and happy unless she had to sit in her stroller. What a precious angel she is. We parked our butts in the middle of a hiking trail.. but Annabelle got a lot of compliments by the hikers trailing around us.

We then changed Annabelle to her fall clothes and went to the Bishop's house. Annabelle was so excited about the chance to run around. Katie is such a great mom and loves her baby so much. If Annabelle started to cry we sang "Itsy Bitsy Spider"... which I had forgotten the words to for a bit. I think we sang that song 10 times to make that little girl smile in the end. And let me just say it worked.

Congrats to Claire and Jeff

Congratulations Claire and Jeff!! Claire and Jeff got married on October 8th at the beautiful Club House. Claire and Jeff were instantly gracious and friendly to us... made us feel like we had known them forever. They were both so accomodating and cooperative throughout the day. I must say that Claire has two of the cutest boys I've ever seen. Caleb her oldest was very friendly and has a little model in him. He was very excited for his mom and loved on her all day. He was very cooperative in getting his picture taken all day. Caleb is also a great dancer. He even ballroom danced with the little girls. Claire you better watch out you got a ladies man in the making. Carter is a cutie as well. Carter is her youngest and it was fun watching him run around and play with the balloons. Claire and Jeff couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day or a better group of people to spend the day with.

Claire looked amazing! Her dress was gorgeous, I loved all the beading on the front and back of her dress. Claire and Jeff's colors were pink and black. Claire's dress matched perfectly. Her dress had a black sash that also had the intricate floral beading from the front on it and it split down the middle in the front. In between the split there was a black panel. Very classy dress and Claire looked fantastic in it. All the bridesmaids wore black dresses but got to provide their own flare with the individual styles they wore. What a fun group of people! Everyone involved was having a great time and knew how to party. Claire and Jeff are very lucky to have so many people who love them. This wedding was full of love and excitement. Thanks for sharing your special day with us!

Quote from above pictures: When asked what I loved most about life, I smiled and said you.
Hope you two live a long and happy life together.

Kate and Ben get hitched!

Kate and Ben's wedding weekend took place in Stevenson, Washington at the Skamania Lodge. Wow, what a beautiful location. Stevenson is a small getaway town up in the mountains. As if the beauty of the mountains weren't beautiful enough, then Kate emerges in her wedding dress. Kate looked breathtaking, and Ben was very handsome. What a great weekend to celebrate with family. Kate began her special day by taking a hike around the lake. The hike was refreshing and was a great way to take in all of mother nature's beauty.

Later she went and got ready in her bridal suite surrounded by her closest friends and dear sister. Kate's sister Allie made Kate's beautiful dress. The dress fit Kate perfectly and I loved all of the delicate lace that was intricately sewn to Kate's dress. Kate's ceremony was backdrop to the Columbia Gorge. Everything about this wedding was stunning and easy going. The officiant was even sporting sandals, as well as the groom. Kate and Ben are easy going people, and wanted to just celebrate their love with family and friends. Ben was so excited to see his bride walk down the aisle. I've never seen a groom filled with so much joy.

After the ceremony we all gathered in front of the lodge to enjoy some live music and cocktails. Later we moved inside for the reception. The reception room was filled with love. Ben and Kate had a photo booth, where you could take some pictures of yourself and scrapbook them for Kate and Ben's guestbook. The room was full of delicious treats and a lot of laughter. Kate and Ben are so in love and are perfect for each other. What a beautiful weekend, and I wish Kate and Ben a happy and joyful life together.

Khloe turns 4!

Happy Birthday Miss Khloe! What a precious and energetic angel Khloe is. Khloe's mom asked us to take pictures of her daugheters "Tangled" themed birthdday party. What a magical day it was. Mary planned it perfectly because the lighting in itself was magical. Rapunzel came to celebrate with Khloe. Khloe's face brightened up like a shining star when she saw Rapunzel. Rapunzel was a great sport and she had fun games for the kids to play. There was face painting, sack races, limbo, storytelling, and singing. The event was like a true fairytale. Khloe had a blast at her party and she brought the inner child out in me. Mary had fun cake balls instead of a tradional cake. There was even a pinata, which the kids really enjoyed. The best ending to a great party was when Mary told the guests she had floating lanterns. If you have ever seen the movie Tangled, you know what I'm talking about. What a great idea and perfect ending to the party! Khloe, Rapunzel, and Mary lit up the first floating latern. What a sight to see! Khloe, I hope you had a fantastic 4th birthday.Thank you Khloe and Mary for letting me share this magical experience with the two of you.
